The venue is perfectly situated on busy High Street Northcote, an inner north suburb of Melbourne popular with both bands and their audiences.
Formerly the Commercial Hotel, the pub had new life breathed into its grimy little lungs in late 2004 and re-opened as the Northcote Social Club. With former owners and managers of the legendary Punters Club, Corner Hotel and The Public Bar on board, the pub is top notch live band venue and popular local hang out.

The band room is a self contained performance space with a capacity of 300. Beautiful Nexo soundsystem and great sightlines top off the room. Brand spankin new deck / beer garden and snazzy new kitcken to look after all your pre-gig nosh needs.
We pre-sell tickets for all our shows. The NSC box office is open at the venue Monday to Saturday 2.00-6.00pm.
