Established in the fall of 2006 during a hiatus from their previous band The Movement, Jim Sanders, Eric Sukalac, and Paul Battista began talks with friend and drummer Josh Merold. Merold, no stranger to the local music scene, had taken his own hiatus from music to finish college. After a few meetings and rehearsals, the quartet decided they wanted to start something different from what any of them had done in the past.
On November 16th, 2007 the band released it's first studio recording entitled "Discovery". The EP was recorded over two sessions at Metrosync Studios, with engineer and close friend Jim Stewart.
Considering all the time and energy already spent with the band, Jim Stewart was added to the lineup as guitarist/keyboardist in March of 2008. Adding a fifth member to the band allowed North Davenport to expand their sound as well as the creative process.
They draw from diverse musical influences, personal experiences, as well as belief and hope in a better way of life, to promote a positive message. Currently, North Davenport is continuing work on they're first full length. The full length has no release date as of yet.
