    Singer/guitarist Jim Sanders, guitarist Eric Sukalac and bassist Pauly Battista had previously been in the band The Movement before meeting up with drummer Josh Merold. After taking some time off from music to focus on finishing college, Merold was looking to start something new, coincidentally around the same time The Movement was beginning to slow down. After a few meetings and rehearsals, North Davenport was formed in October of 2006. .... The band began writing and recording what would turn out to be their first EP entitled "Discovery". The 3 song EP was recorded over 2 separate sessions at Metrosync Studios, the first in December of 2006 and the second in March of 2007 with Merold's close friend and one time bandmate Jim Stewart. After working so closely with the band, a strong friendship was established and Stewart would join the band on guitar in the spring of 2008, freeing up Sanders to begin incorporating keys to the growing North Davenport sound. .... North Davenport reached success early on by reaching the finals of the Real Music competition in July of 2007, playing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The following year, they would be asked to play the main stage of The Fest '08. They had the honor of opening the annual event that would reach a capacity of 22,000+ that year. Along with The Fest, the band has had the privilege of helping raise funds for efforts in Darfur as well as supporting missions in the Dominican Republic. .... North Davenport draws from diverse influences, personal experiences, as well as belief and hope in a better way of life. From playing the smallest venues in Cleveland to supporting the largest world-wide causes, North Davenport continues striving to influence and inspire others through their music. ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
