CHILLER THEATER (Free) - Remember those classic monster movies from your twisted youth? Well, they're back and better (well, maybe worse) than ever. Double Creature Features start run at 6pm and 8pm at Herbe's Z-Town Cafe's Private Screening Room, Main Street, Zelienople! | THE NORTHERN NIGHTMARES FESTIVAL TENT (Free) Join us under the 'Big Top' for all kinds of seasonal entertainment including The Solid MOLD Dancers, Live performances by bands from the Davis School of Guitar Performance. Opening night (Friday, October 3rd, hear ghost stories read by authors of our 'Ghost of The Strand' Creative Writing Contest. | 'GHOST OF THE STRAND' CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST ($5 entry fee) - Every theater has to have a ghost, but as far as we know we don't have one. So every year we challenge young writers to come up with their own twisted vision of specter that roams the darkened theater. Sorry, the competition is closed for 2008, but sharpen up those knives - er, we mean, Pens, as we gear up for the 2009 contest. | | Movies | The Classic Monsters: Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolfman, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Phantom of the Opera, King Kong
