NORTHERN EMPIRE
Northern Empire is a live music and indie club night which resides on the 1st Friday of every month at the 500 capacity Carling Academy 2, Liverpool
Combining the best aspects of live music, with the late night hedonism of a nightclub, Northern Empire’s mission is to expose the best unsigned bands whilst celebrating the music of established artists from all over the UK and beyond.
Running from 8pm straight through to 2am, it is effectively a night of two halves.
Part one is the gig. Each month, five live performances will take place from bands and artists who share a common ground for creating memorable live music.
Notable recent guests include Yeti, Glasvegas, The Grants, This is Seb Clarke, Twisted Wheel, The Sums and The Troubadours amongst others.
Part two is the club. Northern Empire’s resident DJs spin an eclectic riot of indie dance floor classics old and new, with a menacing shot of electric beats thrown in for good measure.
