About Northern Labour Party

Northern Labour Party - Failure Won't Fail Me from shea formaneck on Vimeo.

Northern Labour Party is a band rooted in the analog sounds of the late 70's/early 80's post punk and new wave movements. Formed by several seasoned musicians of the Orange County and Los Angeles music scenes, along with a veteran of the Dutch and German scenes, Northern Labour Party was forged through a love and individual influences of: Joy Division, New Order, Magazine, Gary Numan, and Interpol.

The band's sound has sometimes been labelled as "dark pop," an attempt to describe the bands minor-keyed but danceable music.
