Northern Labour Party is a band rooted in the analog sounds of the late 70's/early
80's post punk and new wave movements. Formed by several seasoned musicians of the
Orange County and Los Angeles music scenes, along with a veteran of the Dutch and
German scenes, Northern Labour Party was forged through a love and individual
influences of: Joy Division, New Order, Magazine, Gary Numan, and Interpol.
The band's sound has sometimes been labelled as "dark pop," an attempt to describe
the bands minor-keyed but danceable music.

Things down here are going pretty well. I know of two places already that I think you guys would be great playing at: The Ruby Room in Hillcrest and Bar Pink in North Park. There was a band playing at Bar Pink when I walked up to it the other night and could have sworn it was you guys.
How are things in The OC? I can't believe I actually miss it a little. But I miss you guys way more. :)
of course man, I thought it was awesome. Honestly, I love the sound, it's definitely unlike all the other stuff out there right now. It's kinda got a tv on the radio experimental feel, its great. If Laura keeps me updated, I'm definitely down to come out and watch again.
