thankyou for your comment. really sorry, i didn't mean to make you feel old. you just remind me of all the great classic singers that my generation are missing out on. it's a real shame because your music has alot more meaning to it. and let's face it, not alot of famous singers these days have much talent. anyway hope you're doing well and hope to speak to you soon. xxx

exactly so,when i've a few beers inside me i revert back to brummie.
my mate frank is from wigan and he reckons us brummies are southerners.i just hope he doesn't repeat this scandalous outrage in front of my dad.he'll be lucky to escape with his life !.

yes, telford is officially shropshire but only a short few miles from wolverhampton really.wolverhampton and walsall are in staffordshire.

hey there. i have to say i love your music!! on one hand it's very old fashioned and on the other hand it's very original and unique. it sounds like the sort of music my dad used to play when i was i child. when i listen to your songs i always remember me as a little kid dancing around the living room to the levellers or bruce springsteen. i always think that i would give anything to be little girl again. thankyou so much!! :)

After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem, & some songs, on myspace...
Poem 187 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
(see my blog for details):
A SOUTH SHIELDS WALKABOUT - AUTUMN 2001

Out of the museum-and-gallery
(Wiser on Cookson and the local way),
Down Ocean Road with, to the right of me,
Its eateries and, left, neat places to stay;
Before, on either side, Marine Parks -
The southern-one a most beautiful place,
Teeming with moorhens, swans, grebes and mallards
In a small lake at a scenic-hill’s base.

Then (holding chips from the parade’s cafe
And, thus, a flock of gulls squawking above)
Onto the South Pier I made my way:
Seeing seaweed over rocks - like a glove -
And high-and-dry sands held from transgression
By growth of grass and the weaving of wood,
Plus, in the dim light of a sleepy sun,
Fishing boats returning to Tynemouth’s hood.

Thanks for sincere communication, I see the irony tho it wasn't intended.Stolen away was writtem when our  children suddenly became adults and jumped in aeroplanes and fast cars and such, happily they are surviving  and thriving, Seaside was written when we found our freedom to travel again as independant adults , not parents so  ,so ther you go. Fine playing to be heard on your page also , cheers the Scuttlers

A few weeks ago, here in Canada, the episode of Beck's family on "Extreme Home Makeover" was aired.
It inspired me to write a song "Missing".
I'm attaching a link to it.

I wish your New Year will continue to be hopefull and successful.
Good luck.
Warm Greetings,
Miriam
