Il progetto Northern Tod prende vita nell'inverno 2002 dalla diabolica mente di Hortern. Nella primavera dello stesso anno esce il primo demo "Tribute to Darkness". Dopo poco tempo, con la collaborazione di un bassista e un batterista inizia un discorso live in vari locali che porterà la band nel gennaio 2004 ad esibirsi al Thunder Road di Codevilla (Pavia), di spalla ad Enthroned e Zyclon. A Novembre dello stesso anno, i Northern Tod vincono il primo premio ad un festival metal a Cassino (Frosinone). Dopo l'abbandono degli altri due membri per mancanza di "spirito", Hortern torna a dar voce alla sua ex band Abgott, al Fabrik di Moncalieri (Torino) e sempre con loro si esibirà anche a Londra di spalla ai Dark Funeral. Nel 2006 Hortern inizia la registrazione di “Revelation”, album di prossima uscita. Tra Settembre e Ottobre una breve collaborazione con due session fa si che i Northern Tod come band possano esibirsi ancora in due date live. In questo periodo Hortern è alla ricerca di professionisti con i quali poter collaborare seriamente e portare ancora i Northern Tod a suonare dal vivo.......
The Northern Tod project initiates in the winter of 2002 from the diabolic mind of Hortern. In the spring of the same year the first demo “Tribute to Darkness” comes out. After a little time, with the collaboration of a bass and drum player a live conversation in various locals begins which will lead the band in January 2004 to exhibits at Thunder Road of Codevilla (Pavia), with support to Enthroned and Zyclon. In November of the same year, the Northern Tod win the first price at a metal festival at Cassino (Frosinone). After the abandon of the other two members for lack of “spirit”, Hortern returns to give voice to his ex-band Abgott, at Fabrik of Moncalieri (Torino) and always with them will exhibit even at London with support to the Dark Funeral. In the year 2006 Hortern begins the registration of the album “Revelation” which will be coming out soon. Between September and October a brief collaboration with two sessions makes it possible that the Northern Tod as a band can exhibit again in two live dates. In this period Hortern is in search of professionals with whom to be able to collaborate seriously and lead again the Northern Tod to play alive…….

Eh a chi lo dici...:-) Con Nargaroth è stato un pò l'artefice del mio pensiero black. Da ora mai molto tempo :-) TRa l'altro War è stat la prima canzone black che ho suonato con il mio vecchio gruppo...
