Influences
Influences are many and varied...Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Hank Williams Sr., The Allman Brothers, Phish just to name a few.
The North River Agents are a Ft. Wayne regional band started in 2006 as a favor for a mutual friend. After a handful of line-up changes and over 40 live performances later, the band is still going strong as part of the Ft. Wayne music scene. The Agents style is as varied as the personalities that make up the band. The band mixes its influences of blues, rock, jazz, bluegrass, country and traditional music into improvisational jams to create a unique melting pot style of music. The band regularly plays at local Ft. Wayne bars and festivals but is interested in expanding its fan base into Michigan, Ohio and Central Indiana. In March of 2008, the Agents teamed with Tom Tempel at Tempel Recording Studios to record its first demo. As the Agents continue making music, their goal is to continue to grow into their sound and become even more prominent within the Northern Indiana music scene.
