From Manchester, played initially on biscuit tins from the age of 12. Now plays Premier Artist Maple and uses Sabian cymbals

The band was formed in early 2006, evolving from collaborations at a thursday night Open Mic night at the Old Volunteer pub in Carlton, Nottingham. Consisting of guitar- Simon Holmes, Bass- Candy Holmes, Keyboards- Bob Harvey, Drums- Clive Duckworth.
We decided that if we were to form a band we needed a direction to help us develop an identity. Bob, being an avid Pirate Radio listener, buff and haphazard historian, suggested building an image based upon former Pirate Radio station, Radio NorthSea International.
