I am a friend of a person that runs a shelter. The shelter has an abundance of large dogs that just need a good home, one that understands what dogs need and can handle a dogs discipline and have love to share.
All dogs are neutered/spayed and are current on medical care and heartworm prevention. There is a fair adoption fee and process.
Some dogs might need a home with no kids or no cats or no other dogs. All of these dogs in the right situation will be YOUR BEST FRIEND!
Who I'd like to meet: Every person that understands the need to spay/neuter and adopt rather than supporting breeders that add to the population problems.
Of course that is only 2 in dog years :P

This elderly lady went to hospital for surgery... Put dog in kennel. She had to stay 7 weeks in hosp.
She paid mostly everything but 200. Dog was not to be released. She then paid that amount, but bill went up. She paid $1,500 to kennel, now 2 months later kennel still won't release but also says she owes $2,000 now. The dog has been there over 3 months. No bath. Now has large cyst, getting bigger. The old dogs spirit is being broken living in small cage with no walks. This dog is used to being spoiled, the kennel will not even let the owner look at dog through window!!
I spoke with the kennel owner. She tried telling me Ariela's mom went to the Bahamas and never came back for her dogs for months. That Ariela's mom was homeless, ect. Ariela's mom did produce paperwork stating sh had surgery, and she has lived at her place for some time. FYI, it does not really matter, Ariela is her and the KENNEL HAS NO RIGHT TO KEEP ARIELA!!!!

On September 8th, 2008, Cowhead caused an outrage when promoting B.S.L.. Cowhead was promoting animal cruelty to his public. This will not be tolerated! while it was said by one person that the teeth should be removed, they claim it was a joke. He also stated Pit bulls are an abomination from hell, and they should never exist in the first place. On that monday, Cowhead also stated you will never hear of a pit saving a child, they terrorize instead. He is miss informing the public and we are afraid this is going to contribute to a rise in animal abuse, especially for pits.
