There's 6.5 billion of us on this Rock, which is flying round a Star, which is shooting round a Galaxy. There is no God & no Heaven, apart from what we make here on this Rock. (Phew! I feel better now I've got that off my chest)
Some people write, draw, paint, build model railways, collect stamps, do DIY, cook & loads of other stuff. I play Double Bass, that's what I do. I also sing & dance, drink, eat, sleep & shag. On a good day I do all of 'em!
I've been playing for about 20 years, first with Don Valley & The Rotherhides, then with Chicken Legs Weaver. I also played with Hazel Leigh, (but only musically - honest!) and now I'm playing with Baby Long Legs.
Welcome.
NL- Looks like I set myself up on this Myspace thing a bit too late- all I'm getting from it at the moment is a frustrating info sharing service that's gradually reavealing that... I've just missed all me old mates gigs! Oh, well, on the positive side, I can now keep up to speed with when everyone's playing and hopefully show up (about time too!)
Hallo Norton - many thanks for getting in touch - honoured to be asked. I do hope we meet again soon either in amongst the Seven Hills or elsewhere. Love and best wishes, David.
We are having meetings at Airy Fairy on London rd every Mon at 7pm.
Please spread the word about this as the more people there the better.
Also we are still looking for bands, Djs and volunteers so if you're up for playing/helping out or know someone else who is then please get in touch. Thanks Eleanor xx
Nice one Norton,It was nice to get out of the rain last night, We thought all the bands we're great,
we were a little subdued, but we have left our selves room for improvement!
Keep on plucking.
