Sounds Like
Lots of different kinds of sounds... most of which is good to dance and sing to and some that just sounds silly if you ask me. I like the words.... some of them are funny.
If Dr Seuss started a rock band - this would be it!!!'
The Mighty bUZZniks' play music that kids love and parents like a lot. Their lyrics contain stories kids relate to and subtexts parents are amused by. Their mission is to play cool music. Music of many styles and songs of all kinds. Amidst the silliness and energy, are stories about life and lessons to be learned and dances that need to be done.......
The Mighty bUZZniks are Jamie Saxe, Tao Kahn, Razz Mussen, Drew Caldwell, Phil McLeod & Carl Pannuzzo. They play accoustic & electric guitars, electric bass, drums, keys, piano accordion, mandolin, kazoo, bits of plastic, assorted percussion & sing sing sing! It's a great chance for kids to enjoy a live 6 piece band.
Jamie began writing songs for his 'ultimate Kid's Rock band' in 2005 and then formed 'The BUGS' in early 2007. They changed their name in May after a visit from some very special alien insects who said 'you must call yourself The Mighty bUZZniks and bring exciting music to kids everywhere.' They have released a debut EP 'To The Moon' and developed a great new live show.
The members of the band are all experienced performers in their own right who have played in many live (big people) bands, written music for children's television and worked with kids in schools and in music workshops around the world. They combine this wealth of experience to offer a rich musical concept to younger audiences with content that is relevant to their life experience..................
The Mighty bUZZniks have a fully Rock! show that is great for families. The music is targeted at 4 to 10 year olds and creates an alternative, bridging the gap between early childhood entertainment and the Video Hits Pop of the teen world..... Whilst creating educational subtexts in the music, which is important to the band, the big emphasis is on live music, vivid performance, creating wonder, dancing with the imagination and just having a totally silly, Rock and Roll party where FUN is the key.
Brrrrr! Beanie and scarf day I reckon. Spare a thought for us while you guys are enjoying the warmth of the Wesley Anne. Look forward to catching up again soon.... have a great show!
