Born in the back of a pickup truck in the parking lot of the University Theatres in Iowa City, Iowa, No Shame Theatre is a forum for theatrical experimentation, where anything can happen (and usually does!)
Over the years, No Shame's progeny have sprung up in places like New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Cedar Falls, Fairbanks, Orlando, Roanoke, Charlottesville, Charleston, Saint Louis and Cork, Ireland!
The rules vary from city to city, but generally-speaking, anyone who shows up with a script in hand on the night of the show... is in the show that night.
