MySpace a place for friends

The "nosheek records" project was born in 1997 from the dj Tonico's sick mind, after known as Stonic; the concept was simple. Too many projects, too many tales, too much productions to manage at the same time; we needed a name and a logo to label all the musical performances and productions, saying who differently than what. (If this seems wired to you or you're not understanding what we're talking about, it means that everything is going well so don't worry and keep reading...). It was easy to Stonic find other sick minds to put into the project as the Peruaz, dj Puppet, Oxid, Fester; everybody with the same idea: to record music and/or play turntables and/or devices just because they love to do it. The musical production and performance becomes later an events and parties organisation, where alcool and "Chip Soap Ava" are the "in house and not" musical selections background. Now nosheek becomes something more than a recordings label: nosheek becomes a tribe aka nosheek pirates recordings. But this is not a complete metamorphosys. Someone says he've seen a black painted white nosheek banner with a papion as logo, fucking and hanging around somewhere. The nosheek records label/tribe/crew is not only artists, but even someone else (Licitra Bros aka Psymon and F Manson, Puccia Bros aka Musta and Banana, the homy girls) who support the project because believes in it as we do. After a ten years kind-of-being nosheek records is still live in the scene. Conscious to be not the first and the last, we keep going as we have a lot to say. Today we're here, tomorrow too and e-mail us about the day after tomorrow, someone will answer you. [P]

Il progetto denominato "nOsheek records" nasce nel lontano 1997 dalla testa malata di dj Tonico, poi ribattezzatosi Stonic; il concetto era semplice. Troppi progetti per la testa, troppe storie, troppe produzioni, ormai non si capiva come gestirle; serviva un nome e un marchio per etichettare tutte le produzioni e performances musicali, distinguendo chiaramente chi da cosa. (Se questo testo ti sembra mezzo cifrato, o non capisci bene a cosa ci riferiamo, significa che sta andando tutto bene, continua pure a leggere...). Fu facile per Stonic trovare altre teste altrettanto malate da coinvolgere nel progetto, come il Peruaz, dj Puppet, Oxid, Fester; tutti con lo stesso spirito: produrre musica e/o suonare con i piatti e/o con le macchine per il semplice gusto di farlo. Negli anni a seguire la semplice produzione e performance musicale diventa anche organizzazione di eventi, serate e feste, nelle quali fiumi di alcool e Ava con scaglie di sapone fanno da contorno a selezioni musicali della casa e non. E' in questo periodo che la nOsheek diventa qualcosa di piu' di una semplice label: nOsheek diventa sinonimo di tribe aka nOsheek pirates recordings. Ma non e' questo un punto di arrivo o di definitiva metamorfosi. Alcuni dicono di avere visto teloni neri dipiniti di bianco, con un fiocco per emblema, aggirarsi qua e la' in giro per il territorio. La label/tribe/crew nOsheek records non e' la somma dei soli artisti, ma si avvale di altra gente (Licitra Bros aka Psymon e F Manson, Puccia Bros aka Musta e Banana, le rispettive girls della casa) che supporta il progetto perche' ci crede quanto noi. Dopo dieci anni di attività e di pseudo-esistenza nosheek records e' sempre presente nella scena in maniera attiva e propositiva. Consapevoli di non essere i primi (chi puo' dire di esserlo) e soprattutto gli ultimi, continuiamo per la nostra strada, perche' abbiamo tanto da dire.
