Exposed to a state of limitless consciousness a once comatose world would then witness an array of secrets unfold before its eyes. No Sleep, the concept of remaining awake both spiritually and mentally is also a description of a man with endless inquiries. Whether nostalgia regarding hip hop as an altruistic and noble art form or a futuristic outlook of how things should and will be, No Sleep is attempting to cover the spectrum and provide a perception that's been long awaited and fine-tuned for it's delivery to you.
Through years of unrelenting drive toward what some may consider an insurmountable objective, No Sleep was born. The literal loss of sleep due to an uncompromising thought process had eventually become a staple of this New York-bred emcees' diet. It hadn't been until early 2009 that No Sleep would make Long Beach California his home in hopes of finally bringing his art form to the world through this west coast avenue. His artistic expression had mostly remained one of secrecy in contrast to what he had actually aspired to be. Like many independent artists Sleep had to endure promises of an industry position that were often anticipated but had never solidified.
Now with a clear view of the world, a classic style of production and an edgy vocal delivery, pieces of a refined puzzle have finally merged. Working in unison with supportive colleagues and friends, Sleeps debut release is truly just the beginning of a long lasting and influential career as a modern day wordsmith.
