No-Söund Effect es el ‘efecto del no sonido’, es la sensación que se produce cuando alguien enciende un mechero después de haber estado a oscuras mucho tiempo, pero en sonido. Como cuando estás escuchando música con cascos a todo volumen, y de repente las pilas se acaban y todo para de golpe.
No-Söund Effect fue la continuación de un grupo llamado Undertone que estaba formado por nueve personas nada menos, que a finales de 2003 desapareció, con lo cual tras la escisión, solamente quedaron dos miembros, Fernando y Micki, batería y bajista respectivamente, que decidieron iniciar algo nuevo con otro nombre y otras canciones.
Fernando y Micki, viejos conocidos ya que habían coincidido en grupos zaragozanos desde 1996, contactaron con Sergio, guitarrista al que conocían desde hacía unos años, y así, en formato trío, comenzaron a tocar por varios locales zaragozanos como Voltaire o el Sol, grabando su primera maqueta en marzo de 2006, que se llamó Unspoken.
Sergio debe abandonar temporalmente el grupo en octubre '06 para seguir sus estudios en otra ciudad, y poco después No-Söund Effect se convierte en cuarteto tras la entrada de los guitarristas Ali e Ismael.
En abril de 2007 los caminos de Ali y No-Söund Effect se separan, y Sergio decide volver al grupo, así que No-Söund effect, de nuevo un cuarteto y por fin con una formación estable, vuelve a ensayar y a tocar en directo a partir del verano de 2007. Vuelve el verdadero bogh'n'roll!
Las influencias de No-Söund Effect son muy variadas, desde la new wave hasta el heavy, desde The Wild Swans hasta Faith no More, pasando por Psychedelic Furs o Queen. Ninguna de ellas realmente identifica a la música de NSE, rock en inglés intentando tener un buen equilibrio entre la fuerza y la melodía, entre la melancolía y la esperanza.

No-Söund Effect. The effect of no sound. Have you ever tried striking a match after being for hours in the dark? That's the sensation. Like running out of batteries while listening to your headphones at full volume, and then, all of a sudden, it all stops.
No-Söund Effect was the "sequel" of a band called Undertone that had an impressive line-up of nine musicians, which disbanded in late 2003. The only remaining members that stayed in contact musically were Fernando and Micki, drummer and bassist respectively, who decided to start a new project, with new songs, a new perspective, a new style and under a new name.
Fernando and Micki, old mates that had already been playing together in many bands from Zaragoza since 1996, got in touch with Sergio, a guitar player they'd known for a bunch of years and so, as a three-piece, started playing many clubs in Zaragoza like Voltaire or El Sol, recording their very first demo in March 2006, which was called Unspoken.
Sergio has to leave the band for about a year in October 2006, in order to pursue his studies in another Spanish city so, after doing a hard search for guitar players, No-Söund Effect becomes a four-piece with the arrival of guitarists Ali and Ismael. In April 2007 the paths of Ali and No-Söund effect go separate ways and Sergio finally returns to the band during the Summer of 2007. The Effects, again a four-piece and finally with a steady and stable line-up, go into rehearsals again and recapture their live activities from then on.
No-Söund Effect went to Germany in March 2008 to play at the world famous Burnout's anniversary party as special guests of awesome German band Past M.D., taking their Bogh'n'Roll outside Spain and leaving noone indifferent.
No-Söund Effect's influences are very varied, from new wave to heavy metal, from the Wild Swans to Faith no More, going through Psychedelic Furs, The Wildhearts, Queen or Megadeth. Besides being personal tastes of the Effects, none of them really identifies with or defines NSE's music, which has its own interpretation of what should be a tie between strength and melody, between melancholy and hope.
