On this site at present here is the song "Saw" which is the only thing we recorded properly in a studio when we were in England, and the only reason we did that was because it was free (it was a final assignment for a friend in recording school). We really didn't have enough money to record 'cause London's expensive and we spent all our money on beer and cigarettes anyways.
Also, another song that is on this site is "Thrash Dub" which was recorded off the mixing desk at Dingwalls in Camden, London. We played a few gigs at that venue when we were over there. There are a few other live DVDs that we have, that I might be able to extract audio from, and there are other songs on the Dingwalls tape.
We never really concentrated on going into the studio, I have a lot of really bad audio (boom box recordings) rehearsal tapes though because we rehearsed religiously every week. We did write about a dozen songs in the UK, we mixed them into our set along with the classics.
Thanx for the add, good to see that there are some more old blokes around and still kicking ass. From AK 79, flesh d-vice , and no tag to the Warner, we've always enjoyed our dosage of punkrock from kiwi cuntry. cheers & beers from germany
That legendary early 80's Ak punk band "NO TAG" recently got together for a jam session.
now after 28 years they still had that "vibe"...
The band are a bit unsure of what sort of crowd they would get to a reunion show...
If you would be keen to see them play after all this time & to hear classic's like "Mistaken Identity" "Legalised Dogs" & others played loud & live at an Ak venue PLEASE post a reply so that I can forward the response to the band....
I'd love to see them play live & I think quite a few fans old & new would like it too....
Let's get them interested in doin' it !! _________________ Daggyville Dave

Crucial Attack Records: State Of Mind – Mental Gold Pre-Orders!!
Originally inspired by bands like Maximum Penalty, Breakdown, Fahrenheit 451 and Leeway, State of Mind have been playing groovy NY styled hardcore since 2005. Now, four years later, the band present their second full length album entitled MENTAL GOLD, to be released by Crucial Attack Records.
It’s a new chapter in the history of a band that has previously released a demo, two 7 inches and a full length. The release marks expansion, musically as well as lyrically. Influences ranging from hip hop to classic rock can be found, while on the lyrical side they take a critical stance towards passiveness and lack of awareness in today’s society. Not very surprising for a hardcore band, you might think, but it’s turning into a rare feature these days.
MENTAL GOLD was recorded with the help of Dirk Miers at De Studio and Nico van Montfort to make it sound the best they could. After releasing the album on May 16th the band will immediately hit the streets for another tour around Europe. Another highlight this year has been the release of their first video for the song One Lie To Live. Turning five hours of film into a video of 2:30 minutes it shows the energy and power the band gives to and gets from the audience. Visit their MySpace or Vimeo.com to check it out. Without a doubt 2009 will be the best year for STATE OF MIND so far!
Crucial Attack Records is now taking pre-orders for State Of Mind – Mental Gold LP/CD. You can order the gatefold LP on limited blue vinyl or on white vinyl. The releasedate for the record is May 16, when State Of Mind will play with True Colors and
