we met on february second, two thousand and three.
we officially started dating on april sixteenth, two thousand and three.
(do the math, that's over five years ago).
he proposed on october sixth of two-thousand seven.
some would consider us high school sweethearts,
but, we went to two different high schools.
we both graduated high school in two thousand and three.
he is now a syracuse university alumni,
he graduated in two thousand and seven.
i spent those four years living for the weekend; when i'd see him.
we moved in together in may of two thousand and seven.
things between us have been amazing these past five years.
(although, no relationship is 100% perfect).
we are getting married on june twentieth two thousand and nine!
and, why aren't there little brad's and laura's running around?
being a mother is important to me; but, not until we spent time being selfish first.
as cliche as this sounds, brad is all i've ever dreamed of.
he's smart, driven, strong, stubborn, focused
and even though he let's you believe he's a hardass,
he is caring and loving, too.
i know that someday he'll be the perfect husband and father.
and, yeah, he's a pain in the ass sometimes, but i wouldn't trade him for anything.
