We are a group of seasoned players who in our past lives, have gigged around the country and overseas. Our Name, Not Dead Yet – borrowed from a Styx song – declares that we remember the sixties and seventies and just like the music from those golden years we are still going strong! Our fondness for classis rock and pop has brought us together, and that is what we play, affectionately and authentically – with a sprinkling of more contemporary material too.
Our sound is defined by David and Philip’s twin guitars and Harvey and Phil’s Rhythmic foundations, with Jeanel’s keyboards adding colour. Out front Jeanel’s lead vocals are augmented by Harvey and David. Our gigs have ranged from landmark outdoor events which as Wintersun and the Rockin’ Tewantin to the Tongue & Groove Cafe in Brisbane’s funky West End – plus a few 50th birthday parties. We are ready to play at your club, pub, party or event too! A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
