Notebook of a Mermaid appears and performs only once a year, on World Ocean Day (8 June), but can usually be persuaded to participate in other water themed events.
The mermaid is also known to find excuses to appear in public by creating awareness days for filter feeders, cuttlefish, water pipe maintenance men and other underappreciated creatures…
The rest of the time the mermaid is attending to the deep end and other wave making devices with a bunch of Thames dwellers called Now...

We decided to keep it simple as a duo up here to produce our first album, but I know you'll like it. Our next album, called 'Joyce', is a happy disKo album.
Oh yes. I knew I forget something to tell you. Whilst reshaping my page I saved only me top 8 or so favourite comments out of 500 or so. That took awhile. A real waste of time. But Im happy to say that yours made it in the honour roll. Its at the bottom.
We really enjoyed the night, everyone's sets were great! Justin sent us your cool photo of us playing, so thanks for that. No album yet, but we'll keep you posted! Hope you find somewhere to swim, and see you again soon.
I think we should look at doing a concept album. Perhaps a double album: Extreme B&Bs and Extreme Cream Teas... of course it will involve more research and development... Devonshire anyone??!?
