Noteworthy won 2nd Place at Regionals of the National ICCA A Cappella Competition and then moved on with the UGA Accidentals to compete in the ICCA Semi-Final Competition. Noteworthy also won 2nd place and $500 at the annual Spring Sing event hosted by Team Burns benefitting Relay for Life. Noteworthy was nominated for FIVE CARA Awards for our "That's What She Said" album, which is the most nominations any single group can receive!!! This was the second Noteworthy Album in a row to be nominated in all 5 categories. Noteworthy's original song, Move On, written by our very own, Maggie Smith, was chosen to appear on the Sing 5 National A Cappella compilation CD. Also, "Apologize", sung by Miss Kelly Mokris, was chosen to appear on the national compilation, BOCA 2009. This is Noteworthy's second consecutive track to appear on the BOCA Albums in the last three years. As you can see, Noteworthy had a very busy year this year, and we can only hope to continue getting bigger and better in future years to come!
Just in case you haven't heard already, here's a little diddy, if you will, all about Us:
The lovely ladies of Noteworthy have been working hard to pleasure your eardrums with "acapellicious" tunes since 1988. We're still going strong with our 13 member a cappella group working it from Athens, GA, home of the University of Georgia bulldogs. Getting our start as part of the UGA Women's Glee Club, we continue to raise our standards choosing only the best tunes to take us to the top, from pop to country, oldies to R&B. We sincerely hope our newest album, "That's What She Said..." leaves you satisfied, yet begging for more! Best friends to the end, we promise to keep working long and hard to continue to give you something mind-blowing.
...That's What She Said.
To a cappella lovers and supporters the world over...We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and souls for allowing us to do what we do best. We hope you enjoy these 14 little pieces of us on our newest album!

2.) Let It Be
3.) Straight Up
4.) Move On
5.) All Good Things (Come To An End)
6.) Crazy

Things worthy of Note: In 2007, Noteworthy was nominated for a grand total of Five National CARA Awards, taking home two of them for BEST FEMALE COLLEGIATE ALBUM (99 Problems But a Pitch Ain't One) and BEST FEMALE COLLEGIATE SONG (Hear Me Out)!!! Noteworthy has also been so privileged as to have been chosen to appear on three different National A Cappella compilation albums during the 2007-2008 school year including: Sing 3, BOCA, and a compilation album honoring Virginia Tech, Hokie Nation.
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
Hi, Thanks so much for the add! I'm not usually a fan of "A Capella" stuff, but you did a really great job on those songs and your voices are just amazing!!! "Wonderwall" and "Apologize" are awesome... I wish I could find your albums in stores soon.
