| About Nothing But Affection (R.I.P.) |
|
"Nothing But Affection" started off as a youth group worship band. Each one of the members, learned to play and flow together through small group worship settings and Sunday morning services. Being Heavily influenced by worship teams and bands such as; David Crowder Band, U2, Emery, Copeland, Stavesacre and Anberlin. Nothing But Affection has honed a style utilizing their God given musical talents, and through the Holy Spirit (as their biggest inspiration). Nothing But Affection consists of three members; Matt Reeves on guitar, loops and vocals, Andrew Reeves on drums and percussion, and Kirk Bryson on bass, guitar and vocals. They play together on different occasions as an acoustic trio in the coffee shop/cafe setting and as a driving rock band for the younger crowd. Whichever form they come in, it's always to give Jesus the glory. "Nothing But Affection is about inspiring a generation to be fascinated with Jesus and to fall in love with a God that loved us first. We want reality with what we sing about."
