The performer in the video above, Giselle Sibyl is one of the 3 Australian members of Metamorphic Ritual Theatre Co. (the others are Orryelle as Oedipus and Medea Luminea as the Pythoness -below) who -together with local SF ritual dancer Aradia Sunseri- are performing in Oakland OEDIPUS TYRANNOS - a reworking of the Ancient Greek Classic to demonstrate that Fate and free Will are not mutually exclusive.
We are playing No Fiction @ Powers Bar in Kilburn on Friday night. IT IS FREE. Also playing are O. Children, a very talented group of gentleman. Doors at 8, we're on at 9. Dj's until 2. There will also be a small exhibition of framed artwork from CONJUNCTIO (Orryelle's new Graphic Grimmoire, recently launched and now available via http://www. fulgur. co. uk or at these events) in the Foyer of Questors Theatre where the Oedipus performance is to be held. This will also be viewable during the week whenever the theatre is open.

'CONJUNCTIO' A Graphic Grimmoire by Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule, published by FULGUR LIMITED (UK).
The Book CONJUNCTIO presents mirrored pairs of Sacred Twins and Divine Lovers from various cultural pantheons coupled on facing pages. They are aligned in such a way that when the pages are turned the figures are United in holy conjunction by the alchemical reader.
Different reflective relationships -alchymic opposites and complementaries- are explored b e t w e e n the pages.
Each launch will include or be closely followed by ritual musickal-theatrickal performances by Orryelle, and some of the original artwork from the Grimmoire will also be exhibited...
