[ Chapter I - The Beginning]
In 1996, after the split of Ominous, Jimi Vignogna joined forces with Kenny Evans (Sacred Oath) to get things going on a new project. After writing a few initial tunes, they hired Tony Mastro on bass and continued to write while looking for a singer. Before long, Tony was forced to leave the band due to his obligations as a covert operative in the underground, post cold war, spy network. Fortunately, Kenny and Jimi met Brian Berry, whos Kung-Fu mastery was so awe inspiring they immediately asked him to fill Tony's spot on bass. Shortly thereafter they picked up Rich Brenner to sing/yell/grunt/drink/smoke/kill. The guys recorded their first CD (with Jeff 'Death' Armstrong) and played a bunch of gigs across the land until the untimely split of Kenny from the group. Mysteriously, Rich then decided to part ways as well in order to pursue other interests, television appearances, and fashionable hair-dos.
After some time trying out new drummers in the summer of 1998, Brian and Jimmy hired Pete DeRosso (Withdrawn|Shai Halud|CrimeLab), who coincidently brought Tony Mastro back into the band with him. Since Brian was already playing bass, the guys simply shoved a guitar in Tony's hands. The new lineup was working just fine...albeit without singer. So, after several sacrificial midgets, the gods delivered Doug Hocutt so the guys could continue spreading metal throughout the empire.
