the last time i heard this band it wasn't too impressive. I came back to see if you improved the sound, and now I am playing blood oath on repeat. it sounds like what Danzig SHOULD sound like. demonic rock and roll. You should get a full length together of that kind of rockish stuff, it's fucking good.
I've found that the old testament is a good place to get quotes. Some of that stuff is surprisingly dark. Example:
"If the only home I hope for is the grave, if I spread out my bed in darkness, if I say to corruption, "You are my father," and to the worm, "My mother" or "My sister," where then is my hope? Who can see any hope for me? Will it go down to the gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?" JOB 17:13 - 17:16
Bizarre. I think I may have used that one in my journal. There's several more that I have that I always thought would be good to use somewhere. I also really liked this one:
"There is no peace, saith the Lord, for the wicked." ISAIAH 48.22
I like to be well-read on anything that interests me so my current project is reading the bible. Pretty interesting so far. At the very least I will be able to fend off so-called Christians with my superior knowlege.
This is turning out really fucking well. I enjoy all of your bands. BTW, I think I got deleted from B.D.A.H.D. somehow and I've yet to be added to Popkill. Hope shit's going good for you. Another crazy fucking day here, bleh.
Blood Oath is the best song presented here. I think in any song in which you scream you need to integrate the vocals more into the instruments, because they are pained and horrible and the instruments are mostly a grinding mess of angst. I like it a lot.
Let us pray:
O Lord Satan, Grant me freedom from purified grace, with rains of razors and scalding oil from the gasping mouth of the dead, bastard sun. I bring you my flesh, I putrefy blessed soil with this black blood, desecrating all that God hath made, I spit on the firmament of hallowed light!
