Usually stuff sung by female artists under the age of 25. Stuff like Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Kelly Clarkson, Fefe Dobson, Bonnie McKee, Cheyenne Kimball, Aslyn... it really is an embarrassing fixation.
And the Muffs. And Prince.
Movies
All I get to see these days are children's movies. Some of them don't suck (Over the Hedge, Pooh's Heffalump Movie), a lot of them do (Doogal, Flushed Away, and the ultimate stinker, Barnyard). Some of my favorite movies are Stargate, Back to the Future, Goonies, Galaxy Quest, Tron... that kind of stuff.
Television
Heroes, NCIS, Lost, Survivor, the Stargates, Battlestar Galactica, Amazing Race, the Dead Zone. I like older stuff on DVD, too, such as the old Battlestar, Space: 1999, all the Star Treks, X-Files, the Buffy & Angel stuff, etc.
Books
Kurt Vonnegut is a personal favorite. Others include Donald Westlake and Mark Leyner. Wish Leyner would put out a real book again someday...
About me: My main recreational activity these days is collecting sketches from comic artists, usually of Marvel Family related characters, sometimes not. Like these by James Jean & Tim Sale:
