Discography DaveNotti & Hi-Res - The New Chill EP
DJ K.O. Presents: "Living Out A State Of Mind Vol.1" EP
DJ K.O. Presents: D A M A G E (Digital 12")
When was the last time you read a musicians biography and actually learned more about them or felt they were more personable?
The time is now! Gamer turned rapper, turned producer, DaveNotti; born Dave William Passmore JR is an exquisite look at one man's
rise to success in the face of adversity and self supression. On paper, he officially started making music in March of 2001. Dave has
been listening to music long before then; long before he knew it was something he would be willing to commit to!
Being raised by a Jamaican mother in his native state of New York; He grew up listening to the likes of Bob Marley, Super Cat, Berris
Hammond, Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton and more! Any true Hip-Hop lover can connect the link between all of those artists and the
culture today, but at that rate Dave should've been the next big reggae hit! Dave was introduced to Hip-Hop by his girlfriend at the time
around 2002, not very long for someone of his age to have already made a significant impact!
When he began to explore other avenues of music makers and switch his style up a bit more, he started to become a bit more
versatile. Dave wanted to make the kind of beats he was listening to, but wasn't clear on what a producer truthfully did or how they went
about doing it. To his saving grace once more, the same girlfriend now unveiled to Dave his first production program: Fruity Loops.
What now comes as second nature to him was nothing but a screen with enough buttons and knobs to intimidate even the most
seasoned producers! Tired of hounding and brown nosing for his production, he took matters into his own hands by learning the in
and out's of the program to become a force to be reckoned with today!
After some tough times in 2007, Dave decided on packing his few belongings and shipping out to the West Coast; Portland, Oregon to
be exact. It was here that Dave's true creativity would be put to the test and would shine through his new work! Cultivating such hits as
"Shit Is Good," "The One," "Entrance" and "Fool What You Want?" the city of Portland has taken in DaveNotti and now has yet another
star player to add to their long list of greats! With a new age of exciting and creative music flourishing upon us, Dave is ready to put in
work until he becomes your next go-to-guy!
Above all else, Dave is a human being who is going to achieve his goal as will everyone. The future is crystal clear for this young man,
with many aspirations and dreams; Dave plans to enhance your listening experience for years to come while taking you along for the
ride as he continues to accelerate and improve!
"The son was raised in the East, and is now set in the West."
This is One Time For Your Mind!
