NLC started in July 1989 as a duo : Angustère and Julien Ash. They released a CDsingle and a double tape boxed set and Angustère left. Since then, NLC is headed by Julien Ash and has released about 50 different albums, from ambiant industrial to neoclassical music, melted with trip-hop and progressive rock.
Julien Ash is also member of "A Sparrow Grass Hunt" and was member of "Maelstrom". He also released a solo CD and took part to different projects such as "Triste Nuit Pour", "Leitmotiv", "KEL"...
Julien has also done Mastering for other bands and some compilation CDs.

Oui, j'ai découvert ce groupe dans 90's grâce à une emission de radio locale : ils étaient fana de Clair Obscur et ont passé le morceau "Gewalt", et j'ai tout de suite craqué.
