This band formed in 2001 in Lawrence. We love going to shows. Some good ones recently have been Aloha, Doris Henson, Blonde Redhead, Sonic Youth, Pilotdrift... Fortunately we live in a town where the music scene is very rich and there is a lot of live music downtown every week. Probably our favorite place to play is the Replay Lounge, a little rock and roll bar on 10th and Mass. The song Displaced is used on a Billy Kostka edit on VG23 so if you skate you will probably dig it. so look out for some strange new music from some Kansas geeks...

I would like to extend my thanks for the great show yous guys put on at the Brick last Friday. And an additional thank you for the cd. It didnt leave my player for at least 24 hours. Helped with the experimental dream sindication that followed. Hope to see you guys around again.
Hmmm....got to talking to Jessi Hoffman last night at Edwin's housewarmy party here...right down the street in fact. I had a dream the other night that Novalus was the house band during Iron Chef. It was them and Against Me!, who I have never seen live so I dont even know what they look like. It was bizarre. Kyle, Dustin and I were all in the audience watching Cat Cora duke it out with some other Chef. When I asked Kyle S. how Novalus managed to get that gig, he just said: The Grand Emporium just let them. (In my dream Iron Chef apparently was a traveling event) Weird.
