Born and raised in Mozambique the two brothers Nelson Novela and Isildo Novela find themselves in the same musical journey bringing their flavours and own compositions from pop, rock, jazz, reggae, afro beat. With their instruments and vocals you get a compilation filled with super funky and danceable songs but also relaxing melodies, sang in English, Portuguese, Xangana and French.
Live shows brings you this energetic and peaceful , enthusiastic and danceable sounds. The rhythms and melodies make the songs memorable and stay in your head. After hearing one song you will caught yourself singing the songs in your head. Novellas Progressive put all different influences together in this new project combined with drummer Tuur Moens and other guest musicians on piano and saxophone.
