TAKING BACK SUNDAY
VOLUME UP!!!! ITS "BAYSIDE" in Duality.
Sounds Like
Boy's heart's breaking.
Falling on your face in a puddle of love.
Rainbows after a New York Northern Downpour.
Basically, we sound like us. Listen to the lyrics.
Joseph, aka: "Sir Lucas" had the idea for a band after he realized that he had written several songs for fun and just out of passion yet, had no audience for them. He talked with Jeffrey aka "Sir Jeffrey" and Adam aka "Sir Adam" about starting a band. We talked to friends and acquired the talent that we now posses. While practicing separately at this point in time, we hope to hone our skills enough to become a performing band. We do not know if this is for fun or for real yet, it depends on how everything comes together. In the meantime, please show support by adding us. We are nice, and will talk to you.
Although there are several Christians in the band, this is not a "Christian" group, and and for that reason does not show support for one denomination over another. The lyrics sometimes deal with adult themes such as eating disorders, heartbreak or cutting. We hope you aren't offended by them, and assure you, we do not take them lightly. In fact, our passion and often morals are what motivate our music and lyrics.
At this time, we are still trying to expand our recording process. The songs that we have up are basically glorified demos. But we are trying to get some more polished songs up there as quickly as possible. The difficulty with composing our music is that we live rather far apart. Two of the band members are in college at Corning Community College, the rest are still in high school in different towns.
Jeffrey Carl is a friend of the band. check him out.
You need to improve your vocals somehow, whoever is singing has a unique voice kinda but needs some lessons, and the vocals are too quiet in why he cries, also try to find a better place to record because the sound quality isn't that great. Other than that all i can say is to maybe add another guitar maybe, you guys do have talent, but it isn't getting tapped to your full potential
please don't take offense to this, I'm just trying to give you ideas to improve
Hey I know it has been a long time, but I finally put up a couple new songs! SO, come check them out! Leave me a comment back and let me know what you think!
its pretty cool that we have something up even if it is a rough demo. i just wish that you could hear the vocals over the instrument. but i guess that would come with a mic. lol peace and love everybody.
