Formed by December Escape and Less in july 2006, leaving their old band Lost Sanity (rock-pop), for wanting to do something different, more violent.
Less (drums) and December Escape (vocals, guitars) were quickly joined by Neph (guitars) and Mirko (bass). They started rehearsing and after 3 months had 5 songs.
In December 2006, Jonas joined the band as guitarist so that December Escape could focus fully on vocals.
The First Demo was recorded in october 2006, with very little success (1 song in a week). The Second was recorded during April 2007, with 5 songs in all.
Mid April 2007, Neph left the band. In the end of April, the new guitarist Alex Cooper joined the band.
In the hot month of september 2007, we entered studio Dan's Project to record our 3rd demo. This one also contained 5 songs and had good quality sound and better performance from every one, despite the fact Larsen had a bruised arm and December Escape had a bad cough. Recording and mixing by Daniel Vauchez and the band.
During the cold month of january, our second guitarist, Alex Cooper, left the band due to differences. DecemberEscape replaced him on guitars.
As of February 08, Novercalis is no longer a band but a studio project of founding member, composer and singer: DecemberEscape and other founding member and drummer: Less. Work will be done exclusively in DecemberEscape's studio, and live performances will PROBABLY be done once an album is out, and tour members are found.
