NOVO ISTARSKO PODZEMLJE (eng., New Histrian Underground) is noncommercial do-it-yourself platform from Pula/Croatia. Story started 5 years ago, with first number of "From Below"zine /FB'zine/ wich revived sleepy Pula zine related scene. Today NIP is, as nonformal project of few creative individuals, our tool for promoting & organizing gigs for diy bands, as well as small diy records and distribution too. Nip has two still actual projects: ANTIFA FEST (www.antifa-fest.20m.com) and United&Louder mini tour..I must mention MONTEPARADISO club & collective (Pula), without their helf this wouldn't exist..
NIP is mostly related with hc/punk scene, aiming to connect people on local basis, helping this whole alternate scene works ("alternate" not "alternative"-this is our different way of living in same world as you,k but creative and highly critical. "alternative" is corporative lie, and it has nothing to do with counterculture that we charish..)..
