David Paterson. We demand full funding for education, health care, and other social programs. We will also raise our voices against the proposed privatization of GHI & HIP. No cuts or privatizations are necessary since the entire budget deficit could be covered by a 6% tax on income above $5 million. So, if you are affected by the cut-backs come out on Friday for a open mic speak-out in front of the governor's office. Bring signs and friends! Spread the word! But I just wanted to remind everyone: be cautious of the information you see/hear, challenge it and research the "facts" yourself. Often times you'll find that statistics work in the favor of whoever may be using them, or that the "facts" are skewed to show a political situation in a different light. thanks.

What do you think of these newly discovered crime scene photos (viewed at Abu-Jamal-News.com)? I have been personally contacting every media outlet I could find and still the mainstream media has completely ignored the story. Many independent media outlets have covered it, but the only independent outlet that has actually published one of the photos is the national Black newspaper, The SF Bay View (click here).
