Hello! Nowhere Fast Productions is pretty damn cheap. Most of our projects are made for around £20 (hopefully that isn't too obvious!)
Our current production is a zombie film and our first feature. Its been difficult trying to come up with an original idea using zombies when everything has all been done so perfectly in the films of George Romero, Shaun of the Dead and (most likely) Robert Rodriguez's segment of Grindhouse. So we're treating our film like a distant, switched at birth-disowned and adopted cousin of these films.
That said, we have worked very hard on something that genuinely means a lot to us and should have the right balance of fun and drama.
Hopefully you'll be interested in checking out the finished film.
Most importantly the film does not have a budget (nor have we tried to acquire one). It was very important to us from the start to attempt to make this film using nothing more than the enthusiasm and inventiveness of those involved. It wouldn't be fair to drop names here in a silly little blog, but it's fair to say that without the support and trust of everyone involved we'd never have been able to create set pieces with over 40 beautifully made-up zombies on a budget of nothing.. something that I'm very grateful for.
To date the film hasn't cost anyone more than a few sandwiches, donuts and cookies.
I've just cut a short trailer together that I hope will give some sense of what the film's looking like. Also feel free to check out the montage of shots (definitely not a trailer) and the outtakes from one simple shot which turned into a bit of a farce and some of the most fun I think we've had on the shoot.
