Scott has had many years experience with
vocals. This self-taught singer has never had any formal training, just
countless hours of practice and personal study. Nowhere Near Nashville
is Scott's first actual band to be in, but his experience and confidence
on stage came way before this while singing and competing on many stages, show cases, and competitions. Scott has taken several
first-place wins in local competitions. Scott was honored as a
male country winner at the Skagit valley casino, in Bow WA, and was sent
to Laughlin Nevada on a full paid trip to compete at the talent quest
2006 finals. Scott has had the opportunity to learn to play rhythm
guitar with the help of Rich Wolfson.
Rich comes from a lifetime of music.
This multiple instrument player is also a pro drummer that has been in
several bands and has tons of gigs and experience under his belt. Rich
is a scorching guitar player that has an outstanding ear and ability to
understand and play most anything. His very first band happened to be a
country rock band called, The Riff Raff , playing his first gig at 14
years old. Rich went on to play for The Suds, The Effects, Whiplash, a
grunge tribute band, Shades of Purple a Deep Purple tribute band, Rival,
and Red Grass, which received a recording contract and opened for major
headline acts in 1995. Rich has worked with Scott since 2005 playing
music and finally coming up with this bands concept and then putting it
together.
Tom also comes with tons of experience playing music and being in bands. Tom along with Rich have played together in The effects, Rival, the Suds, and in Red grass which had a recording contract in 1995 and opened for major headline acts. Tom and Rich have always played well together feeding off of each others skills. Tom also has great vocals and is able to hit the high notes for
complementary back-up hamonies.
Sean Marcella has been playing drums for over twenty years, Sean started in his first band at the young age of 15 in Wisconsin. In his past experience he has played in a classic rock cover band, an original cover band, an original punk band, a blues band, and a percussion ensemble. Seans last band was a country cover band out of Wisconsin. Since moving to Arlington Washington, Sean has found his way Into Nowhere Near Nashville and has been a nice strong fit.
