Our fucked up lives, our hatered, and our struggles with substance abuse all influence us. Our home, the city of Boston. The bands we look up to and listen to religously influence us such as, Blood for Blood, SSD , Terror, Street Dogs, Slapshot, AF, Sick of it all, Gang Green, Death Threat, Bruisers, DKM, Misfits, Madball, Hatebreed, Dio etc. Loved ones at war, being homeless,Dorchester,mental illness, kicking heroin,jail, psychotic landlords, and lasting friendship all have had their influence on us as well.
Go see Nowhere U.S.A. and you'll Know what there about. Either 16 people or 600, Nowhere will bring it like you haven't seen in a long time. These guys have some of the most raw, BRUTAL break downs and sing alongs from "Intro" to "You're Through". So get to a show and get ready rip it up. Some weeks, it feels good to take a perverse pleasure in someone like a celebrity hitting on hard times, so here's rap star Pras Michel of the Fugees homeless in LA, a trailer for the documentary feature film Skid Row. Filmed by undercover crews and hidden cameras Pras, with no money in his pockets, experiences first hand the violent crime, hard drugs, discomfort and hunger of homelessness, putting a face and giving a voice to the people affected and exploring the reasons behind it. Produced by Pras Michel alongside Teryn Fogel and Rob Wisdom the film is available now via Nelson Madison Films.
