A New York Hardcore band formed in the late 1980's. No Win Situation released their first Demo Tape in 1991. In 1992 they apperared on a NYHC 7" compilation called SICK BUT SLICK on Nawpost records with a song titled "Backup System" recorded at Don Furys studio in NYC. The 7" is now out of print. Then later in 1992 they went on to release their first and only 7" record titled RAT BASTARD also recorded at Don Furys studio NYC. This record contained 7 songs and was available on red and black vinyl. Now an out of print collectors item. The band played many New York and East Coast shows during their career and played their last show sometime around 1994. No Win Situation last recorded 2 songs in 1995 at studio SD50 in NYC. These songs "The Angle" and "Not Looking" appeared on the Satisfaction Guaranteed NYHC CD compilation released in 1996 on Nawpost records. Now considered a classic NYHC band. Some members of No Win Situation have went on to play in the New York Hardcore Punk bands AWKWARD THOUGHT and SHELL SHOCK.
