Hello there.
I'm Nye.
I'm 18.

I think I'm finally to the point where I kinda know who I am and what I wanna do with myself. It was about time.

I'm finally done with high school! I'm off to Mercer soon. Can't wait. =D

My taste in music has become completely random. It goes from Russian sopranoes to Classical music (Tchaikovsky is my homie) to Japanese metal to sad British people to Phil Collins to 90s grunge...to celtic. Yes. Meaning Irish/Scottish people.
My favorite band is UVERworld. I love them so much it makes my insides tingly with delight. Takuya Shimizu is totally my lover. ^.^ My life's goal is to somehow make it to Japan for a concert and steal him. Hehe. See-Saw would be a close second. They usually aren't what I listen to, what with them being a female duo that does soft music, but I've fallen in love nonetheless.
Also, video game music is the shit.

Speaking of video games, I happen to love them.
I can't really choose a favorite, but I do love Jade Empire. Final Fantasy. Sonic the Hedgehog. And Mortal Kombat. And Castlevania. Rowillie made me love .hack as well. >.<

I play the guitar and the bass. I think I'm starting to prefer the bass over the guitar, but I'm better at guitar. Californication is my pride and joy on that instument. As for guitar...I wish to be able to play like Yui. John Frusciante is way outta my league.

Death Note is the best show ever, dude. You should watch it sometime. It'll make your head hurt.

As for television...
I don't really watch much TV (besides anime, and even that is just one or two), but Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke are permanent staples in my day. Makoto Nagano is my uncle. <3

My bestest buddies are Bozu and RoRo-chan. They're plenty cooler than you. They are my lifeline. At this point, I'd make a reference to the ninja ropes, but apparently we did away with that analogy. But, anywho. I suppose I'll take this time to mention that we enjoy baking together. =D

When I grow up, I wanna be a Criminal Profiler. ^.^

I'm a history buff. I mostly like U.S. history and any type of Asian history, but really, I could sit and read any history book all day. Oddly enough, though, I don't watch the history channel all that much. Elizabeth I would be my current historical obsession. =D (I could go on for hours about the Elizabeth/Essex/Leicester triangle.)

On that note, upon extreme distress of any sort, I'm liable to randomly rant in 16th century British English. O.o

The Chinese (and Japanese, but mostly Chinese) culture fascinates me. Before I die, I plan on visiting Beijing. I also want to take Kung Fu or Tai Chi eventually as well. I am also a sucker for Chinese kung fu movies, especially if they have Jackie Chan in them. Jet Li's cool too, but, uh...he's no Jackie Chan. And Bruce Lee...sigh. All the beautiful people seem to die young, don't they?

Also, orange juice is the best drink, like, ever.
