I've been playing at various parties and clubs over the years - I really can't remember the time started to dig beats so much; I suppose Hip Hop dragged me into the world of electronic sounds in the first place.
Nowadays I play everything that makes sense to me - you may here me going from Lightnin' Hopkins to Laurent Garnier in 25 minutes (the other way round would probably take 10 minutes longer, probably.
My setup consists of a laptop, some sound software, an external USB card and - of course - a mixer. By now you might have guessed that I use a purely digital setup - and you guessed right. Since I started DJ-ing using CDs and actually hardly ever touched any vinyl, I'm totally comfortable with those non-haptic bits and bytes.
Instead of writing a whole book I'd rather show you some movie clips form one of my typical days!
 5:00am in the morning - time to do the anarchy dance with my favorite penguin!
I change the penguin on a daily basis though - I don't want the rest of the crew to get jealous, since penguins are the most sensitive species among birds uncapable of flying, and people rightfully expect a disc jockey to be sensible sensitive.

 5:55 am When I'm late, I like to enter the club on my motorcycle, because it's faster AND more stylish this way, dont' you think? And that especially applies to afterhours.

 6:03 am And then I start to rock. This picture was taken at Flex, Vienna. They close their doors at 12am! (once a year, on 1st of Jan; usually they close at four, when grown-ups start to enter the clubs)

 10:11 am Club is closed, and seriously now - who could resist a little paragliding after such a mind-boggling after-hour set? Gets my juices flowing and makes me hungry, so it's time to grab some food.

 12:12 pm Lunchtime! Nothing like a tofu burger with extra chicken, prepared by my favorite French chef de la cuisine and flavourfully garnished with a little dash of balsamico mustard!

 13:30 pm Ah, that food was delicious! Time to pay a visit to my workplace - luckily, since no one is downloading mp3's these days, my label is making millions. And start thinking of exchanging my golden CEO throne with a platinum one. Or maybe I should at least platinum-coat the current one.

 18:30 pm Work is done, but after all those strenuous massages-on-the-job I got's to get rid of all this job vibes - what could be better than a little jousting in the karate dojo? Hands off my black belt, buddies!

 20:30 pm That was exhausting, wasn't it? Time for more food - let's have our daily dinner taco at the playboy mansion swimming pool. We gotta get ourselves in the right mood for party!
