SEPTEMBER 2009: ATTENTION MUSICIANS/PRODUCERS

Hey, NPC here. Figured I'd let you folks get in on some fun. I've decided to hold a remix contest!

Basically, you will be tasked to remix one of the main tracks from my upcoming album; "Aftermath, 2102." You can transform it into any style of music you want, electronic or otherwise. You could make a reggaeton death metal version of the song if you wanted to, even though that sounds kindof awkward, really. But hey, to each their own. And I want to support your individuality, and such!

I'm supplying you folks with a .rar file containing:

- The original "Aftermath, 2102" song
- Various individual patterns from the original song
- My remix of the song, "Aftermath, 2102 (Horror Tech Mix)"
- BLINDING AMBITION 8)!!!!!!!!!!!!

And this isn't just for the hell of it. There will be FABULOUS PRIZES.........

SECOND PLACE WINNER will also receive a free autoghraphed copy of my upcoming double album, "2102," along with a $25 giftcard to Wal-Mart, and your remix will be put up second to top on the NPC myspace player.

THIRD PLACE WINNER will also receive a free autoghraphed copy of my upcoming double album, "2102," along with a $15 giftcard to Wal-Mart and a spot right beneath the second place winner on the NPC myspace player.

Everyone who participates will also get a spot on the NPC Myspace's top friends list. Free advertising, and such!

To submit your entry, either PM me or give me an email at npcremixcompetition@gmail.com with your name and remix. You have until November 1st to get it in to me!

TIPS:

- The song has a nearly continuous key pattern; 4 measures of D minor, 4 measures of D minor, 4 measures of D minor, two of C minor, and two of C minor. Lather, rinse, repeat. You can change it up if you'd like.

- Make it unique. Don't arrange it and make it sound almost exactly like the original. That's boring. Be creative!

- Have fun making it. For realsies.
