The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) is the world's largest trade organization for songwriters with over 100 chapters throughout the United States and overseas. Headquartered in Music City, USA, NSAI provides educational opportunities for songwriters as well as opportunities for connecting with the industry. NSAI is also the leading voice for songwriters on the legislative front, working in Washington, DC to ensure that songwriters can continue to be paid fairly for their hard work.
The Los Angeles/Pasadena Chapter of NSAI is a community of local songwriters who are dedicated to our craft. Most of us have the ambition of becoming successful commercial writers, and we use the workshop as a resource to help us achieve that goal.

Just getting the word out to remind our Songwriter Friends that this Friday (June 27th) is the extended SCHOLARSHIP application postmark deadline for Skip Ewing's Horse & Writer "Invitational." A 7-day writer's retreat like no other, during which You'll be given personal guidance by Skip and three other multi-award winning hit songwriters. This year: Deanna Bryant ("Stupid Boy," "Johnny and June," "Don't Make Me"), Clay Mills ("Fall," "Beautiful Mess," "Don't Think I Don't Think About It"), and Chris Wallin ("Love Me If You Can," "Don't Blink")
Apply for one of up to 20 scholarships to attend Horse & Writer Invitational for $0 tuition, but do it soon (by Friday)! Scholarship covers all food/lodging/education/riding. (You don't have to ride horses to participate.)
