About me: We are NSR Live, a newly branded version of Newcastle Student Radio. We're the ONLY STUDENT RADIO STATION in Newcastle and are now present in both Newcastle & Northumbria universities, giving more students an opportunity to get involved in our group.
We interview, review, listen, write & meet, with the intention of giving any students interested the chance to participate in something that is both fun and interesting- the chance to work or present for a fully functioning radio station.
We're not just about the music, though- we are willing to listen to any ideas from listeners and potential presenters for shows, or events and gigs.
Get involved!

I'm looking for some help here. Help make an old man very happy by securing a place in the Road to V fest finals. I am attempting to get 'Wind of Change' there! First go to: http://roadtov.com/register/ this will allow you to register as a fan. Next go to http://roadtov.com/artists/wind-of-change/edit/ and vote for 'Wind of Change' Many thanks in anticipation of your help and making an old man realise his dream! Only takes a couple minutes.

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.
Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
