Production of Pearly Gates will be from January 3rd through January 31st, 2009.
We have a full shooting script as well as the theatrical stage version, and are currently pitching the full story to dozens of potential producers.
The script is being hailed as the perfect comedic mix of stupidity and intelligence, in league with Clerks and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia!

Dark Tower Info:
JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof bought the rights to make the Dark Tower films from Stephen King two years ago. We are making the trailer for them to see.
With luck, JJ will be able to convince [Universal] to pony up a nice nine-digit budget with a 4+ year-long shooting schedule to keep the tone and style the same throughout, as Jackson did with LOTR. Otherwise, we beleive that the Tower will likely suffer. We will try our best to make sure the fans are heard.
In the mean time, as we wrap the trailer editing, among working on our multiple other projects, Sean is putting together an outline for the Dark Tower scripts. Eventually, once the finer points are agreed upon among fans, the scripts will be sent to King, Abrams, and Lindelof to make sure that what's written is filmable. After that, there will be pre-production with budget projections, hiring a crew, location scouting, and tons of other prep work. Likely around 2011.
Obviously, this will be a long process, but we will be here to listen to the fans along the way, and to give updates as we get them. We normally take 1-2 business days to respond to any fan questions or messages, but please allow a little more time for us to respond as word grows and we get closer to production and beyond.

We are all really excited about the upcoming Dark Tower trailer which is currently in our editing lab and will be completed in less than 3 weeks! The composers have rough cuts of the trailer now and are writing and recording the score as you read this!
Currently, Sean and Frank are writing and casting for a feature-length comedy titled, "Pearly Gates" which will go into production as early as the first weekend in October and likely will be either a Cleveland Film Festival submission or a Sundance submission!

The premiere of N Star D’s television pilot, “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” is set for Saturday, Aril 5th at 6:00 PM in the screening room of Talkies Film and Coffee Bar located at 2521 Market Avenue, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Press is welcomed to contact Frank Maraldo, who is heading up PR and scheduling interviews for the event at mccoynstard@gmail.com, although interviews with Mr. McCoy will not be available until the date of the showing.

N Star D Productions has outlined their summer entertainment production schedule which will include filming the third and final “Nightmare” short film and plans to produce and release the trilogy in a single DVD at the end of the summer. The trilogy will also be making the usual film festival rounds.
Additionally, Sean McCoy is in negotiations with Stephen King’s assistants to gain the rights to filming one or more of his short stories.

Upon acquiring our new quad-core AVID Xpress Pro editing suite, editing, audio-dubbing, and video mastering begins today for “A Guy Walks Into a Bar,” and is slated to run through the end of the year. DVD scripting and final mastering will begin immediately following and should conclude no later than January 15, 2008.
