About me:
((Welcome!))
Hey My Brown People! We are the members of the Northeastern State University Native American Student Association. We have our meetings every Tuesday at 3:30pm in the University Center Room 223! Everyone is welcome!!!
((Purpose))
The purpose of the Native American Student Association is to enlighten the NSU Campus and public in regard to the community involvement, volunteer work of NASA, and to promote a better understating of the Native American people and students of Northeastern State University.
((Activities))
-Weekly meetings in the University Center (TBA)
-NASA members perform community service by participating with area schools such as sponsoring the Oaks Missions Christmas Party
-Annual NASA Picnic
-Cultural awareness volunteer opportunities with the National American Indian Heritage Month each November and also with the Symposium on the American Indian at NSU each April
-NASA also participates with other local and regional universities and colleges in playing stickball
-NASA takes part in participating with the NSU Homecoming events each year which include the parade, chili cook-off,, paint the town green, etc.
-NASA also does fundraising to be able to take part in each of the events discussed about

Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who is interested in the cultural aspects of the Native American and those that just need to feel a sense of belonging!
