Click image to go to download page Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Section 27 Netlabel	Jul 27 2009 10:37 PM One more release from our own Nonima, this time collaborating with fellow noisemaker Sonal. The sound and tone of "The Death of Youth" is quite a drastic change from what may be expected, there is some technically programmed beats and clicks aplenty yes, but it's the abundance of ambience and Sonal's heavily processed guitar work that makes this release a worthy addition to Nonima's hastily growing catalogue of releases. Recorded one night in June as an improvised jam session between the two artists, it evolved into what we have now. Complete with some rather disturbing samples from serial killer testimonies and the brilliant "Session 9" movie by Brad Anderson, of course. "The Death of Youth" is certainly dark and fractured stuff, perfect for headphones at 3am. Available as a free download from Section 27's site or from the link below. Je tiens à te remercier au noms de SINAPSE pour être passé nous faire un ptit coucou dimanche, et également pour nous avoir sauvé la vie avec ta table, on pense t'offrir les tiags d'Harold pour te remercier(surtout qu'elles ont pris de la valeur depuis dimanche ---> 46€ derniére cote de Tiags Magazine ;)). Donc comme convenu je te la rendrai(avec le cable :)) quant on ira se boire une biére pour officialiser notre passage dans la cour des grands à L'ENSI, et pour inaugurer notre binôme "InGoogleWeTrust" :).
