About me: I moved to NYC from main line Philly with plans to become a Communication professor through NYU. But after a semester of uninspired papers and introspection, I left school and started working for CBS. I realized that I'd rather be a part of the news industry than teach people about it. So I'm here in New York, working my way through the CBS news world, trying to find my niche......I wrote the last paragraph almost 2 years ago and now I feel I need to update it, but not delete it. I'm currently working in Philadelphia, reporting for WRTI Public Radio station. While the location and job is now different, my feelings and ideals haven't changed much. I still feel like a little minnow in the raging river of the news industry. And I'm still looking for that niche I mentioned earlier but with a lot more confidence and knowledge under my belt.

Who I'd like to meet: Someone who enjoys relaxing by listening to public radio. Yes public radio. Also I'm learning that I need to stop taking myself so seriously.
