Formed in southeast Tennessee and made up of seasoned musicians with a love for The Blues, Nu Blooze is band with a sound that is at once unique and familiar. With a set list made up of heart-felt Blues classics spiced up with a healthy serving of attention getting originals, Nu Blooze delivers a satisfying feast for any Blues lover.

Separately the musicians who make up the current roster have decades of experience in stage performance, session work and guest appearances. Together they deliver a sound that will definitely get your attention. Randy Jones' gritty vocals and solid guitar rhythms are right at home with the rock-solid beat of drummer Ted Dickerson coupled with the driving low end provided by bassist Anthony Locke. Bourbon Street Blues guitarist Tony-Paul Dunn brings his down home New Orleans style mixed with smokin' riffs and tasteful leads that give him his signature sound while the addition Leo Schmied on keyboards has added a whole dimension to the sound that is Nu Blooze.

With influences that run the gamut from Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson to Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers and B. B. King and with experience in venues ranging from the local Pentecostal Church to the smokey Blues Bars of Bourbon St., Nu Blooze will deliver a show you won't soon forget.
