Nub existed as a living, breathing rock band from 1991 to 1998, and still do exist in a way, in that no-one out of the band is dead yet. They were usually made up of Tim Ineson (vocals, guitar), Adam Ineson (guitar), Nat Saunders (bass) and Jeff Gerhardt (drums), although Simon Hartop and Graham Blackwell had a look-in too.
They released singles such as Fall Guy (Rough Trade Singles Club), Blacktop (Flowershop Records), Blue Climber (Jackass), and Hopper (Planet Records) and recorded a Peel Session in 1996. They were always in the NME and Melody Maker, but never got round to releasing an album before they split up.
The good news is, And Then Records finally release their debut album on August 20th, 2007. It got 4 stars in Mojo magazine! Visit www.andthenrecords.com for more details. And you can order it online at Amazon, CDUniverse, Cargorecords, Andthenrecords, or straight from iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=260665618&s=143444
Ta for add, Nub chaps. Was recently slung out of marital abode and was going through old boxes from the loft, found about a dozen demo tapes that Nat sent to me, and they still sound rather fine. An album would be splendid.

We're planning to go on our next US tour in June and hit Europe also in July/August. It's gonna be a busy year!
Cheers,
