About me: Nuclear Boy is an up and coming artist based in Essex under the shadow of Bradwell Nuclear Power Station. The name is taken from an early unreleased Killing Joke song and reflects the paranoia felt in the world during the artist's childhood growing up at the end of the cold war near Greenham Common Airbase where some of the first American Cruise Missiles were deployed in the UK. At the time there was an uneasy stalemate between East and West. Both sides had enough nuclear weapons to completely destroy the planet several times over and this situation was known at the time as Mutually Assured Destruction or MAD for short! www.nuclearboy.net
